With over a decade of legal experience, Marie M. Sprowl started The Adelphi Group (TAG) in early 2022. She spent the first half of her legal career practicing in the area of family law, handling complex divorces, child custody and paternity matters. As a family law attorney, Marie was a zealous advocate for her clients and helped hundreds of families navigate the legal system through challenging times. She has since transitioned that same client focused humility, hard work and litigation experience to her clients who have been wrongfully denied coverage under their insurance policies.
Marie graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Business Management. During her time at FSU, Marie worked as a Teaching Assistant in the College of Business, served as Panhellenic Delegate for Pi Beta Phi Sorority and was a member of the Varsity Swim & Dive team. Thereafter, Marie accepted an academic scholarship to attend Barry University School of Law in Orlando, where she graduated cum laude in 2011. While at Barry, Marie earned several Book Awards, served as Research Assistant for the Academic Dean and as a Teacher’s Assistant for Legal Research & Writing. Throughout her law school career, Marie also worked as a Judicial Assistant to the Honorable Judge Alan Dickey, Circuit Judge in Seminole County.
Marie is a busy member of her community and enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations. She’s done extensive work with our local Legal Aid Foundation and Teen Parent Program around Central Florida. She and her family are also very active members at their church in downtown Orlando.
Marie resides in Maitland with her husband and their three children, a set of boy/girl twins and a little sister, all active in sports who keep her running all over the state of Florida. In her rare free time, she enjoys running, traveling and boat days, but for her, nothing beats a family beach day!
Marie’s passion for connecting with her clients, coupled with her experience in the courtroom and attention to detail set her apart from others in the industry. She started The Adelphi Group to bring unrivaled service and connection to her clients as they maneuver through their property damage claims. When you’ve been wrongfully denied or unpaid on your insurance claim, TAG her in to bring the results you deserve!

Katie fights on behalf of her clients, to force the insurance companies to hold up to their end of the bargain. She has extensive experience ligating a variety of insurance claims, including hurricanes, storm damage, water losses, collapse, fire, theft, vandalism, and liability matters. Katie has litigated insurance dispute cases throughout the state, and has helped resolve over a thousand insurance claims, personally recovering millions of dollars in insurance benefits owed to Florida homeowners.
